Colin Johnston is an accomplished paper supply chain professional, with more than thirty years in the pulp and paper industry. Prior to establishing Colin Johnston Trading Inc., Colin was employed by Resolute Forest Products (formerly AbitibiBowater) and managed annual budgets of $100 million. His responsibilities included the procurement of recovered paper for the Canadian mills, supplying 1.1 million tons annually. His experience includes many years with senior marketing management responsibilities. Colin’s keen organizational abilities in the supervision and coordination of process improvement initiatives and his effective leadership and negotiation skills were key in securing large contracts and the provision of savings to the corporate bottom line. Colin has held the position of Chairman of the Canadian Pulp and Paper Association, Recycling Section, and continues to be a member of the Recycling Council of Ontario.
